Young Men’s Club toGive Dance January 5.Everything is in readiness for the dance to he given Friday night at the Hotel Dermott Au«iitorium from S:30 to ij|:3o. The Lake Providence hand has been engaged for the occasion.Our first annual ball certainly made a “hit judging from the many good | things heard in and about town. There were visitors from all over Southeast Arkansas. Hooker s orchestra from Greenville rendered pleasing music.The Young Men's Club now has 2d members, all in good standing, and many more are joining. is theinitiation fee to join, then $l.(k» per month. Members are admitted free to monthly dances. He sure to attend the dance Friday night; gentlemen $1.lt;H'», ladies free.An expert dancing teacher will likely be engaged by the club early in February. Those desiring lessons will please leave word with the secretary at Bordeaux's drug store.A number of our members attended the New Year's dance Monday night at Hlissville. and they report a joyful time.
