BUCK ATTEMPTS SUICIDE.- mm ■ - •James Buck, who was in jail at Hardwick charged with the brutal murder of his wife three weeks ;ilt;m, attempted suicide Saturday night by slashing his throat witii a table knife that he bad concealed in his cell.He managed to cut a bad gash but did not reach the jugular veins. Hewas taken to the hospital and willprobably recover.
