THE RAILROADS. By the breaking of an axle a Pitts burgh freight car was ditched at Arcola yesterday. The Paulding Gazette says that the eased lease of the Paulding and Cecil zilroad by H.G. Olds and other parties has fallen through. The station house of the Fort Wayne, Jackson and Saginaw Railroad at Water loo, was destroyed by fire Thursday night. Most of the contents was saved. The building was insured. The case of Whitlock against the Pennsylvania Company has been on trial at Valparaiso during the past week. It is an action to recover damages for the burning of a hotel at Wanatah sometime ago. Judges ,Zollars and Brackenridge appeared for the railroad.
