There will be an Ecumenical Retreat to start the week of prayer for Christian Unity at Vallombrosa Center at 250 Oak Grove Avenue, Menlo Park, from 7 p.m. January 16, begin ning with dinner to the closing session at 2:30 p.m. on January 18. The leaders will be the Rev. Alvin Pevebouse, St. Joseph The Worker Parish, Community of the Agape; Very Rev. J. War ren Holleran, director of Val lombrosa Center; and the Rev. Carl Smith, mid-Peninsular Christian Ministry. The topics will be “Christian Identity in a Changing World,” “Prayer and Social Action,” “Church Urbani zation” and “Christian Respon sibility.” Reservations may be made through Vallombrosa Cen ter. There will be a Judean Re treat for divorced women and those contemplating divorce January 9 to 11 at Vallombrosa as well.
