During his last Illness he bore his suffering patiently, learning well what it meant to be made perfect through suffering. His last clays and hours were spent peacefully, calmly, courageously waiting for the coming of the summons. Ho came to his grave lu n full age, like as a shock of corn comefch in its season. The hoary head is a crown of glory if it be found in the way of righteousness. Teaching us anew the lesson that God walks with his children and comforts and supports them even when passing through theshadow of death. The funeral services were held ip the Congregational church on Saturday afternoon, attended by a gqodly number of friends, who thus testified to the worth of him who hath left us for a little season.
