I ~ VA. V«UV#i —A strange .wild animal has been creaiting-consternation in the vicinity of Glenfard.; beast hag been called a panther, a lynx, a j hyena, a bear, and dear knows what other names. Several efforis have been made tobring it down with a gun, but w.tbout effect-i What it is or where it came from are botfyj alike unknown. The beast is not a pleasan^ looking customer. A combined effort will probably be made to dispat h the roving ! animal.
