The Pugilist Wins.Lafayette, Ind., Dec. 30.—A prize fight occurred this morning near here between Richard Keating, a pugilist of some note n this section, and Edward .Corey, of 3rawfordsvi.le, a novice. The men were ivenly matched and weighed about 185 Mich. Keating had trained but little and *as over-confident. Corey played a very :autious game in the first round of the ighfc, although receiving several heavy dlows managed to inflict several stingers □ his opponent and soon got the upper land. In the fifteenth round Keating was cuocked down three times. Cautious iparring followed, and in the twenty-third •ound Keating touched Corey lightly on the lose and swinging his right just below prey’s ear.
