Willie WorthyFuneral services for Willie Paul Worthy, 69, of Collinsville were held Monday, December 29, at 2:00 p.m. in the Huff Chapel in Whitesboro. He died Saturday, December 27, 1980, at the Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman.Bro. Hugh Newsom, minister of the Miller Memorial Baptist Church in Collinsville, conducted the services.Burial was at the Dixie Cemetery under the direction of Huff Funeral Home.Mr. Worthy was bom on September 27, 1911, in the Basin Springs Community, Grayson County, the son of Luther and Ida Elsie Springer Worthy. He was a farmer and a member of the Baptist church.Survivors include: a brother, Cleo J. Worthy of Collinsville.Pall bears were Jimmy Strabary, Butch Strabary, Junior Green, Joe Strabary, Charlie Strabary, and Grady Cox.
