U n veiledBust of Mrs. ManleyBust of Mrs. Dorothy ManleyOn December 11, 1966, the bust of the late Mrs. Dorothy Manley was unveiled in the lounge of Manley Hall. The unveiling was done by Mrs. Geraldine Manley Cheek. The bust was sculpted by Mrs. Joy Buba. Mrs. Buba has also done busts of former Chancellor Adenaur of Germany and John D. Rockefeller. The bust of Rockefeller is in Spelman’s Fine Arts Building. The godchild of Dr. and Mrs. Manley, Sandra Rates, read favorite poems of Mrs. Manley.
