He was a delegate to I the International Round Table of \ I Christian Leaders at Princeton, N. 1 J., in July, 1943, and a delegate 1 j to the National City Conference i on the Churches and a Just, Durable Peace, Delaware and Ohio, 1942.Mr. Wilson became executive secretary, for a two-year period, of the Friends’ Committee on National Legislation which supersedes the Friends’ War Problems I j Committee, organized in 1940, when the present Selective Train-! ing and Service Act was being1 • j* * i tformulated.The Friends’ Committee for National Legislation was established in 1043 to represent Friends in the United States on questions of legislation and other acts of government which affect or involve Quaker principles and concerns such as conscription, rights of con-*: science, religious and civil libcr-; ties, post-war relief and rccon-l struetion, international economic i*' issues and racial discrimination.
