There is also the same Superintendent, with an Assistant Superintendent at each Hospital. The - finances and general business are conducted from one office by the Steward and the Treasurer at Tuscaloosa, with an assistant Steward at Mt. Vernon. The Superintendent spends about one-fourth of his time at Mt. Vernon.
