He is a true follower of the Lord Jesus Christ and a liberal giver to charity.-Mr. Hu taker’s father, Israel Huifaker, was the fourth child of John and Priscilla Huffaker, born June G, 1814, fo Wayae County, Ky. At fourteen J ears of age, lie walked to Morgan County, Illinois. Four years later he enlisted for the service in the Black Hawk war, serving in 1831 and 1832. Chi May 3, 1834, he married Ann MariaU Kurtz from Nelson County, Ky, jn 1840 they moved from Morgan County, 111., to Bureau County and in 1890 moved to Mills County, Iowa. Israel Huffaker was a zealous Christian man and a minister of the Gospel of Christ.H. H. Huffaker was married to Miss Mary J. Post, a native of Pennsylvania, daughter of Stephen and Jaue Post, natives of New York state, coming to Crawford County, Pa., in an early day. Stephen Post was a minister of the Gospel of Christ. H. H. Huffaker and Mary J. Post.were married at Attica, Marion County, Iowa, Deer 11,1872. They have a . daughter hy adoption, Birdie Almaretta Huffaker.
