M. Minsel’s drug store has gone to his home at Wharton to spend New Years. Miss Louisa Reineke has re turned home from Cleveland where she has been trimming in, a millinery store. Mrs. Christ Demland, of near Pleasant Bend, is very low with consumption and her death is ex pected at any moment. A farmer named Wade was thrown from his sleigh in East Defiance Tuesday and suffered a bad fall. He was not seriously hurt. Dave Condon, who has been the guest of his brother-in-law, B. O. operator, James O’Connor, returned to his home at Elkhart, Ind., today. Burt Stailey, of Ney, was be fore Justice C. H. Hunter Tues day on the charge of pointing a pistol at John Donley. ‘The case, was dismissed. Marriage licenses have been is + sued to the following persone: Lonie J. Carl and Louie Miller returned to their home in Peru, Ind., last evening, after a week's visit with friends. Miss Cora Feagler, of Auburn, Ind., who has been the guest of Fred Hipp, returned home this morning. Miss Mae Maronny, of North Baltimore, arrived in the city ‘o spend New Years with Mae Murphy. Mrs. Frank Imaber and little son, Donald, are expected in the city today to spend New Years with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Deveaux. ’ The following marriage licenses have been issue J. Chas. W.
