The suction carried him dawn and held him and he jould not possibly have gotten out had not Master Jepson plunged in and,ufter a hard battle with the current* brought him out.Two years ago a boy named Hackett got into deep water ne»r the Ice houso and the swift current carried him un-dei the ice from where he was rescued by young Jepson.The fourth instance of his valor ami quick wit was during a camping trip. He and a companion were taking a long swim and the other boy becamO exhausted and gave Jepson a bard struggle to gel him ashore.Forrest Jepson it president of hi* class, that of ’06 in the Bennington high school, and wa? captain of the high school football team last full.
