During the year which has just closed, carpenters have been kept busy in Greenwood. Although there has been no record kept of the amount expended in the construction of buildings 'in Greenwood it will foot up to many thousand dollars. There are still several buildings uncompleted and others for which plans are being prepared. Among the buildings erected during the year were the following : John Hamill, a two storey block and a three storey hotel ; Rendell Co., addition to store; Russell Co., two storey’ block ; the Commercial hotel ; Barrett and Hodgson, residence and two storey block; Nels Leplante, two storey block; W. S. Fletcher, two store)' block ; Olson and Phelan, warehouse; C. JE. Shaw, residence; N. Cleff, residence; W. J. Harber, residence; A. Fisher, residence ; D. W. Holbrook, residence ; W. W.
