E. Moulie, of Jacksonville!, the perfumer, claims to have spent nearly $30,-000 since he came to this State in October, 1880. He first established a plant at San Mateo for manufacturing the raw material for perfumery and orange wine (non-intoxicating), and later in Fairfield he bad quite a plantation of flowers andbuilt a factory there. All our old residents will remember that industry and the magnificent exhibits he made at the Sub-Tropical when the latter was at its zenith and later at the New Orleans and Chicago Exposition his Florida perfumery was greatly praised and in great demand.
