The , 1 warehouse and works are located in a large building on north Main street near the railroad bridge. The firm are the sole manufacture ere of S trickier *s Reversible Dead-Lock hay carriers; also horse hay forks, pulleys and general haying tools. The business of the firm has doubled every year since it was established in 1883. The goods from this firm are sold all over theUnited States and shipments have been made to Russia and* Italy. Thousands of them are in use and all giving the best of satisfaction.Lt is the strongest and simplest hay carrier in use.The company gained a great victory the past year which will be of inestimable value in the future. In the long contested suit of John M. Royd vs. the Janesville Hay Tool Company for alleged infringement of patent on hay carriers and elevators in the United States circuit court for the Western District of Wisconsin, Judge R. Bunn dismissed the complainant’s bill with costs, November 9th, 1888. This decision substantially places the 8trickier patent hay carrier where it rightfully belongs, at the head of all carriers manufactured. They will now take the necessary steps to protect their patent from infringement and will prosecute all parties manufacturing, selling or using a earlier similiar to theirs. In view of the above decision and the superiority of their carrier over all others, it should stimulate an increased demand for this carrier wherever introduced, as absolute protection is guaranteed dealers in itB sale and purchasers inits use. This firm’s goods are now on sale by nearly all of the principal jobbers and retailers of such goods in the states and territories. {Several traveling agents are out taking orders. Hast year four thousand carriers were sold. This year the firm expect to manufacture six thousand at least and hope to make eight thousand.
