In the long contested suit of John M. Royd vs. the Janesville Hay Tool Company for alleged infringement of patent on hay carriers and elevators in the United States circuit court for the Western District of Wisconsin, Judge R. Bunn dismissed the complainant’s bill with costs, November 9th, 1888. This decision substantially places the 8trickier patent hay carrier where it rightfully belongs, at the head of all carriers manufactured. They will now take the necessary steps to protect their patent from infringement and will prosecute all parties manufacturing, selling or using a earlier similiar to theirs.
