George Adair Jr.George Washington James Adair Jr., a resident of Lavinia, Tenn., died Tuesday, Feb. 27.Services will be Friday at Bodkin Funeral Home, Milan, Tenn., with the Rev. Joe Whedbee officiating. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery, Lavinia.Mr. Adair was born July 18, 1937, in South Chicago Heights.He was a truck driver for Jewel Food Stores, Melrose Park; a member of Leach Seventh Day Adventist Church, Teamsters Union Local 710 of Chicago, and the Fraternal Order of Police, Valparaiso, Ind.He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Ann (nee Langford); three daughters, Rebecca Jane Degener and Glenda Wilson, both of Portage, Ind., and Vicki Crouse of Valparaiso, Ind.; two sons, George III and Jeffrey, both of Valparaiso; his father and stepmother, George Sr. (Anna) of Wilmington; a sister, Marie Danna of South Chicago Heights; a brother, William of Steger; and nine grandchildren.
