CORONADO CWILL FORWARD FINN FUNDSIt was announced recently that a Boston group has set up a Finnish Fund, to which private contributions for unrestricted purposes are invited. lt;This, is is said, is to give the American people an opportunity : promptly to assist Finland without involving the United States Government in any unfriendly act ; toward Russia.According to its secretary, Henry , R. Arkinson* the Boston commit- ; tee includes Karl T. Compton, ; president of Massachusetts Insti- lt;tute of Technology; O. M. W. Sprague of Harvard; Sarah Wam-baugh; Edwin S. Webster; William ' Y. Elliott, and Oscar W. Hausser- lt;man, president of the Boston j Chamber of Commerce. Treasurer : of the fund is F. A. Carroll, National Shawmut Bank of Boston.At the request of this group, Bank of America and various other banks in California will act as « depository for such contributions in this state, and will daily for- 1 ward all funds direct to the Finnish Minister, Hon. Hjalmar J. Procope. Wyoming Avenue, Washington* t). C.Persons desiring to assist Finland may leave their contributions with any branch Of Bank of America.
