The Mikado Much Appreciated By Monticeito People—The presentation of the Mikado a the Perkins Opera House in Monticel lo last night by the Thomasville east, was mlt; st delightful and genuinely appreciated by a large and enthusiastic audience. . Mr. Nat Williams want down and w:fh his nun arranged ino scenic effects, which were very cleverly done, despite the fact that the fittings for the scenes were not so arranged that they coj*d be used in the same way as here. The tr upe put on a high class show, even b ittur than it was here say visitors.The people of Monticello were mo«-t cordial and rpprec'ative of the eCtat. The proceeds_ from uie. show go to the Monticello Woman's Club for its local civic work. The dub entertained the members of the cast with a delicious bouffet supper after their arrival. Mrs. John Pasco also entertain-sed wltk a delightful-dinner—partyufar.several members of tnc Xaomasvillecontingent. The roads had been dragged and were in fine shape for travel.
