D'HANIS NEWS Mrs. Louis Lutz and Mr. Fred Lutz were the honored guests on the occasion of their birthdays at a dinner at the home of the Louis E. Lutzs in San Antonio recently. Mr. Louis Lutz of D’Hanis was also present. Mrs. Louis Carle, Mrs. Lawrence Carle, Terry and Mike and Shelly Ney were in Pearsall on Wednesday evening to help Mrs. David McGehee celebrate her birthday. Mrs. Mary Krachenfels returned to her San Antonio home with Col. and Mrs. John Johnson after spending the past three weeks as the houseguest of Mrs. Ben Koch. During her stay she was hostess for a Valen tine party entertaining her friends with a Rock party at Mrs. Koch's home. The Valentine theme was car ried out and the sixteen ladies present enjoyed refreshments and hand made prizes made by the hostess. All received 2 heart shaped pincushion. Mr. and Mrs. Carl Rudinger had as their nece recently her sister Kristine and her husband, Charles Reil, of St. Paul, Minn. The Reils spent two weeks in the San Antonio area where they were the house guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Eggen who accompanied them to the Rudinger home. Mrs. Louise Selman of San Antonio and Mrs. Louis Pichot of Hondo with whom the Reils spent two days and Mrs. Adam Weynand joined the grou at the Rudinger Rane home.
