Ankle Twisted Raymond Walter Jr. 16, stepped on a railroad tie in a back yard Thursday evening and injured his left ankle. He was en route from his home, 2613 Bost wick, to attend an Explorer Post meeting at Milton School, his father, Raymond Walter’ Sr., said. He is unable to be in class at Alton High School, Not Far to Go When Mrs. Ruth’ Young of 427 2, St. St, splashed hot grease on her hand while frying an egg Thursday she didn’t have to go far for help. It happened at St. Joseph’s Hospital, where Mrs. Young is employed. She was using a small skillet to fry an egg, she said, and was pulling the skillet l off the stove because it got too hot. In the process of removing the skillet from the stove the grease splashed on her, she said. Bitten by Dog Debra Lynne Cole, 8, daugh ter of Mrs. Evelyn L. ‘Cole of 517 Melrose, South Roxana, suf fered a laceration to the left leg Thursday when she was bit ten by a dog. She was taken to Wood River Township Hospital where she was treated and re leased.
