V. Williamson and two sons, O. W. and Kenneth, of Kosciusko, were arrested Sunday afternoon on a charge of public drunkenness in Durant. They stayed in jail until about five o’clock when they paid fines of ten dollars each.According to reports when the men came out of a Durant cafe and got into their car one of them stepped on the starter accidentally and it shot back all the way across the street without anyone under the wheel. According to the report an ice pick was used in the stabbing.Carr was taken to the Community Hospital at Lexington where his injuries were thought to be critical but he was dismissed from the hospital this week.McLean was released from jail Monday on $250.00 bond and his trial will be held in Judge W. D. Ford’s court Monday morning, March 4th,I at ten o’clock.•
