A FAMILY BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION AND REUNION was held this week in Chicago for Mrs. Julia Polkus, on the occasion of her 81st birthday. The party was held at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Val and Don Mizerk. There were 29 members of the family in attendance including Mrs. Jenny Ciesielczyk and son,Alan of Bessemer.Attending from Detroitwere Vincent and Barbara Polkus and sons, John, Terry and Robert. Other guests atthe party were Helen Corda, Mrs. Rolkus’ daughter, her grand-daughters Agnes and Ruth with guests; Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ciesielczyk and children, Noreen and John. Visiting from Poland were Mrs. Polkus’ nephews and cousins, Adam Wurbel, Ted and Chester, Marian Gralewiz, Nonas Kaminski, Mike Stolarski, Bogdan Dymek and Stanley Liomek.
