Mrs. Dessie Wilhelm, aged 56, of Route 6, Capps, died at the Boone County Hospital Monday, February 26. She was born at Olvey June 22, 1915, daughter of Benjamin H. and Mary Jane White Farmer. She had been a resident of Boone County most of her life. She was a long time member of the Assembly of Goa Church at Batavia. Survivors include a daughter, Celestia Rains of Capps; four brothers, Ralph Farmer, Edward Farmer, James Farm er of Wichita, Kan., Herbert Farmer of Yakima, Wash.; two sisters, Juanita Fitzpatrick of Yakima, Wash., Dollie Cope of Olathe, Kan.; six grand children; three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Wilhelm in June, 1965. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Holt Memorial Chapel with burial in Summers Cemetery.
