New Officers Elected, Chick Clark Employed For Manager and Golf Instructor, Plans Announced For Regular Entertain ment Features and Extensive Golfing Activity. New officers have been elect ed by the Oak Hills country club and plans have been completed to make the club’s program more efficient and extensive than ever before. The new officers are: R. W. Simpson, president; Dr. J. L. Cummings, vice president; Ed Martin, secretary and Chick Clark, pro coach and manager. Clark is a well known player and has been highly successful as an instructor of golf, so that his services are expected to be in great demand here where golf has within the last year or two had a revival of enthusiasm. He will be collector for the club, also. Mrs. Clark will have charge of catering and will be available at all times. Hostesses planning small bridge parties are invited to call her, as she will make all luncheon arrangements. Regular Dances Entertainment will be under the management of Mrs. Thena McBride. A carefully worked out program of dances has already been worked out, including a weekly subscription dance and, once a month, a dance with ad ditional special entertainment for the members only. The monthly dance and show will be without admission charge for the members. The best or chestras available will be se cured. The ‘“‘subscription’’ dance each Friday night will admit only on presentation of bids. Members of the club can secure these bids from Mrs. McBride and their friends can secure them through the members, all at the stated price. The entertainments will be conducted under careful regula tion. Committees Named Committees named for admin istration of the various affairs of the club are as follows: House: Mrs. P.A. Greens: Roy Givens, M. O. Matthews, Mickey McBride. Tournament: Denver Davison, George Johnson, E. Goddard. Entertainment: Mrs. Thena McBride, Mrs. J. M. Winter smith, Dr. O. H. Miller, Harry Lundgaard. Membership: J. I. McCauley, Dr. J. A. Rutledge, W. W. Sledge, Dr. A. R. Sugg. McALESTER, Okla., Feb. 27: (P)—Joe Ranallo, 43, a miner in jured a week ago by a rock fall in a mine near Haileyville, died in a hospital here last night of pneu monia. The widow and nine chil dren survive.
