Among those of Floss-moor who attended were Mr. A. Schultz, Mrs. Charles Shults, Mrs. F. Davis and Mrs. 0. Gordon from Olympia and Mrs. J. Burdett.Mrs. M. Proctor from Massachusetts is visiting her daughter, Mrs. George Deveneau. Mrs. Proctor has visited in Flossmoor many times and friends will be glad to see her again.Members of the Flossmoor Garden club met at the Hotel Sherman last Tuesday for dinner and afterwards attended the flower show exhibit, where the club was represented with five entries. Great skill in labor and decorative ability was shown in the displays, which members had worked on for many hours.Mrs. Warren Peasley of Scott ave. is giving an Inauguration tea for the Flossmoor branch of the Illinois League of Women Voters at her home Monday, Mrach 4, 3 p. m. All those intreseted are invited and urged to attend. The committee in charge wishes to announce it is absolutely non-partisan, but will acquaint you with the issue, different welfares, and all work involved in the benefit of politics. Miss Edith Rockwood, executive secretary of Illinois League ofWomen Voters, and Miss Julia Steb bins, Cook county executive, will b the speaker of the afternoon.
