Lewis was named president of the club for the ensuing year.Melvin L. Griffith was chosen vice president and two officers, Harry L. Butcher, secretary, and Alvin L. Wagner, treasurer, were re-elected to their posts. Six directors were also named.Announcement was made that the foundation of the $60,000 clubhouse for the Cherry Hill course, which is at Flossmoor, has been laid and that building will begin within a week or 10 days. Completion of the club-, house is expected by June 1. Facilities for 250 men and 50 women, the maximum membership of the club, will be contained in the building.Committees will be named at the next meeting, which will be held at Wagner’s office, 6222 Cottage Grove ave., March 21.
