It ia built In leaf-green zlbel-ino cloth, with strappings of velvet of Just the same soft shade, arranged in quite anew way, both on the trim skirt and the blouse coat And both fabric J and color make the 'yt most effective background for the superb skins of blue for which form a hordering to skirt and on the coat, curve round the deep velvet collar, the heads turning round at each side as if to give a better outlook on their new surroundings. Furthermore, there is a scroll device of oriental embroidery on the collar, the dominant coloring—if anything so softly blended can be given such an assertive title!—being a lovely shade of turquoise blue, which is repeated in the narrow velvet ribbons loopedabout the neck of the accompanyingblouse. Here two kinds of Btrlng-colored lace are charmingly combined and almost entirely veil the soft white silk, with Its lines of cordlngs which admit of its being gathered into fullness at intervals. *
