DRESSING ROOM.IMPORTANT PROCLAMATION.His Imperial Highness, alias J. G. Britton, autocrat of all the tonsoratieal operations of this great western realm, hereby makes known to the citizens of Logansport, that he has com' menced. business in the first door of the frame building belonging to John Backus and opposite the Washington Hall; where he will be ready at all times to shave, cut hair, c. in the most fashionable style, and he flatters himself that the result from his long experience of many years practice, that he will be enabled to nulify the most unbending beard in Chistendom. He does not shave, as many gougers do bank notes c.; but he emphatically a gentleman of the strap, and acts Upon the face in a judicious and scientific manner.February, 27, 1836 33—3.
