Seven weather terminals were donated to schools throughout the region, teaming students with the station s weather anchors in predicting the weather.Ongoing projects include the station s Kindness Campaign done with the School of Education at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. “We want to expand the awareness of perpetuating kindness in our community,” says Lucas. Acts of kindness are credited at the end ' of the evening newscasts and schools are setting up kindness-reward programs.The KKTV CityLine, which j offers a wide variety of information, generated more than 9 million calls in 1994 in Pueblo and Colorado Springs.
