Easton ArtistDe Thomas to Present Art Exhibit in WatsonJoseph De Thomas, well-known Easton artist, will present an exhibit of paintings and sculpture this weekend in Watson Hall.The Fine Arts Society will sponsor the display, most of which was recently completed and has not been shown locally.The exhibit will be shown in room 127 Wataon from •10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 0 p.m. Sunduy. A tea will be held Saturday from 2:30 to 5 p.m. in 127 Wnteon at which Do Thomas will be present.The paintings on display will consist of water colors, oils, pen umi ink .sketches, wood sculpture*, and works on gold loaf, for which he has been widely acclaimed.De Thomas has done serious painting for the past 12 years und is well-known In art circles all over Pennsylvania. He has received several awards in New York and Philadelphia art shows and has presented his work (n one-man |ahowH throughout the Easton area. Two of his works were purchased by the Ford Motor Co. and published in the Ford Time.. He Is active in the Lehigh Art Alliance and the Community Art League of JOSEPH DE THOMAS Easton.
