SA1) DEATH OE CHILDCecil, the 6-year-old daughter of Mrs. Grace Haley, formerly Grace Johns, passed away at the home of her grandmother at the tannery Wednesday morning of last week. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon. The child had contracted measles which left her in a weaken-ed condition and she went into pneumonia. The saddest part of the affair was that the mother, who has been working at the home of W. P. Thomas, was also ill at the time and was too low to be advised of the death of the child, whom she dearly loved, it being feared that the shock would force a turn for the worse in her condition. I
