Le Roy Haf en, debating manager, presided. Three orations were delivered, as follows: Parley Woolsey on ‘The Character of George Washington/1 .Miss Ha Thorne on “TheDomestic and Spiritual Life of Washington, ” and Lee Huff on ‘'Washington’s Farewell Address,'* The j'udges were: The Rev. S. EL Goodwin, J. W. Robinson and the Rev. J, A. Smith, who unanimously decided in favor Mr. Huff. Patriotic selections were rendered’ by the B. Y. U, band and choir.
