A Costly Toot.”John Ryan, hotel keeper - at Wardner, Idaho, was relieved of $600 one evening* last week in Pernie. On his way to Pernie he got a lot of time checks cashed atCranbrook and had the above sumin his iqside pocket, He indulged in more or less drinking in town though he was not entirely under its influence. He believes the money was taken from his pocket by a sneak thief while he was dozing in a chair.
