O. M. Stafford. Mates that the land now owned by Mr. Otten was taken up by him In 1882 and prior to that time Major Reed filed on the spring in question, and Mr. Stafford says that the only water right he ever owned was enough to irrigate his land, from Dig Casino, lie states that Major Reed transferred his water right to Frank Day and Paul Morase. who re-filed on ii to make sure of a title. Mr. Stafford says that he did not sell any water right to Herman Otten. as lie at no time had any in connection with the land In question.
