called upon to explain.Last night a woman of the town named Lucretia Plotner who was living on Clark street in association with one George Oker died somewhat suddenly. She had been ill, but her death occurred unexpectedly. All inquest was held to-day under the Conduct of Judge lJudlong acting coroner. Dr. Alton, who attended the deceased and a number of other witnesses were examined, but the jury has not yet returned a verdict as we go to press.
