Cathrine Ann Brooks, Richard B. Demchuk ADAMS — Wedding vows were exchanged Feb. 18 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church by Cathrine Ann Brooks, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jeddie P. Brooks of Haskins Road, Savoy and Richard B. Demchuk of Loop Road, Savoy, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Demehuk of 688 West Housatonic St., Pittsfield. The Rev. Jeddie P. Brooks Jr. of Our Lady of Hope Church, Springfield, brother of the bride, performed the 11 a.m. double ring ceremony. The bride was escorted to the altar by her father. Mrs. Donald Marcotte was organist. Mrs. Edward Hakes was vocalist. A reception was held at Green Acres Fireside Inn, Cheshire. Sheila Roach of Southbridge, a friend, was maid of honor. Elaine Littlejohn of Cheshire and Susan Schultheis of Pittsfield, both friends, were bridesmaids. Neil Noel of Savoy, a friend, was best man. Ushers were Michael Clarke and Thomas Granger, both of Adams, friends. The bride wore a tiffany knit gown with a venise lace and pearl bodice, a sheer yoke, high round neckline, and chapel length train. Two chains of venise lace adorned the skirt front and lace motifs adorned the long fitted sleeves. Her fingertip length, lace-edged silk illusion veil with blusher was attached to a lace and pearl camelot cap. She covered an ivy trail cascade of gar denias and English ivy. The maid of honor wore a pale pink polyester knit gown with spaghetti straps and a matching, sheer floral capelet. She carried a colonial bouquet of pink carnations, daisies, white sweetheart roses, pink star flowers and baby’s breath. The bridesmaids wore matching gowns, one dressed in pale blue and the other in shades of blue. The’ bride is..a ski instructor at Brodie Mountain Ski Area, New Ash ford. She is a graduate of Lyndon State College, Lyndonville, Vt., Berkshire Community College, Pitt sfield, and Hoosac Valley High School, Adams* —~ ° _The bridegroom,’ a ‘laborer with Mistress Corp., Pittsfield, is a graduate of Mohawk Trail Regional High School, Buckland. ~ : Mr. and Mrs. Demchuk will reside at 42 Bartlett Ave., Pittsfield, after their return from a skiing trip to Vermont. Alison H. Masters, David R. Overton WILLIAMSTOWN — St. John’s Episcopal Church was the setting Jan. 28 for the wedding of Alison Harnett Masters, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Clarendon Masters of Pem broke, Bermuda and Baxter Rodd, Williamstown, and David Roy Overton, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dana Harding Overton of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Rev. Bryant Whitman Den nison assisted by the Rev. Bruce R. Bramlett performed the 4 p.m. double ring ceremony. . The bride was escorted to the altar by her father, Victor Hill was organist. Marthanne Williamson of Nova Scotia, Canada, was vocalist. A reception was held at the Faculty Club of Williams College. Barbara Jeanne Masters of Pem broke, Bermuda was her sister's maid Mrs. Richard B. Demchuk of honor. Susan ‘Lois, Masters of Pembroke, Bermuda, sister of the bride, and’ Mary Pat Grant of Prince Edward, Island, Canada ..and’ Gayle Smitha. ‘of ‘Portland, Maine, ‘friends, were bridesmaids, Robert Gray’ Merritt of Halifax, Nova Scotia, a friend, was best man. Ushers, were Clarendon Hugh Masters of Pembroke,Bermuda, brother of the bride, and Donald Grant of Prince Edward Island,Canada, and Peter Smaha of Portland, Maine, friends. The bride wore a victorian style ivory gown with a self train and ivory lace trim on the hem, collar, cuffs and bodice. ‘Her veil was attached to a‘ cap of ivory and seed pearls. She carried two dozen white roses, with ivy and baby’s breath. Her attendants wore emerald green satin gowns with empire bodices and flowing skirts. They carried” pink roses and feather carnations, with baby’s breath. The bride is employed by the Halifax Dancer Co-op Company, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada'as a dancer, choreographer and classical played by General Electric Co.
