ISU To Host Women’s TourneyIndiana State Universitywill be the site of the 1974 women’s basketball tournament sponsored by the Midwest Association Intercollegiate Athletics for Women on March 7,8 and 9.Sixteen teams will participate in a single elimination tournament with a consolation round to be played in the Women’s Physical Education Building and the Arena. Finalists will not be known until season play ends next week.Games are scheduled at two hour intervals starting at11 a.m. Thursday, March 7; 9 a.m. Friday, March 8 and thefinals at 9 a.m. Saturday,March 9.Tickets are on sale at the WPE Building priced at SI.25 for adults and S.50 for students. Tickets are good for an entire day.MAIAW is comprised of teams from Indiana. Illinois, Michigan, Ohio, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.Indiana State’s team, coached by Edith Godleski, is a top contender with a 10-3record to date.
