WoundedIn VietnamA young soldier from Salem Is recovering from wounds suffered in a night attack on hisposition in Vietnam on Saturday.Sp4 Gilbert Cuevas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Cuevas of KD 1, Salem, received wounds to the face, eyes, hands and abdomen. He is presently in a U.S. Army hospital in Japan He entered the U.S. Army in 1969 and has been in Vietnam since July 1970. The 19-year-old soldier is a graduate of Washington County Academy atSalem.
