Griggs Leaves Taygoldit ***KLowell Griggs, manager of Taygold Farm Service for the past nine years has resigned his position here to accept General Managership of the Farmers Cooperative Oil Company at Sheldon, Iowa. A great promotion for Mr. Griggs.The Griggs family has been very.. active in all community affairs here. They have four sons, Terry, Tom,,. Dan and Douglas. -They attended the United Methodist Church and Mr. Griggs was very active in both Cub Scouts and... Boy Scouts troops.Dave Hobsheidt will take over the duties of Manager of Taygold March 1st. Mr. Hobsheidt is married and.. they have one child and will be moving here soon as housing is available.The Hobsheidt cornes here from... Lawler, Iowa.Dwight O'Riley, who has been office manager for .several years, will retrain £n that position.The Griggs family state they have enjoyed working and living here and extend an invitation to anyone coming to Sheldon, Iowa to be sure to.. stop in.We here at the Chronicle office.. join with the Town and Community.. The table was decorated by the den Mother's with nut cups and name places made by the cubs.Opening the evening, America... was sang by all with the Pledge to.. the Flag. Prayer was lad by Rev... Yoon.An enjoyable Pot Luck supper was then enjoyed by all.The Scouts put on a skit, ending ‘with the Cub Pledge. A film on sports was shown.The racing cars for the boys to ma*, ke was then handed out.Everyone agreed to a nice evening
