Greenwood, wife and son of Glenn, Texas, and Mr. Greenwood’s sister, Mrs. Frank Orson of MUdand were here Monday, in the interest of a section of land in the Bawley-Delk community; the land being known as the J. M. Sullivan land. Mr. Greenwood and Mrs. Orson are grandchildren of the late J. M. Sullivan who settled on the land in 1880 and who died in this county in the early 1890’s. Their father, John Greenwood, was a deputy sheriff under George Scarborough, second sheriff of Jones County. Mr. Greenwood died in Yuma, Arizona, in 1929.The Sullivan land was secured from Mr. Sullivan’s father-in-law, Mr. Andrews, for whom the survey was named.
