Ben Beard has moved to the Grover Holler tenant house and will farm some land in the neigh borhood. C. B. Hogue who was on the Frank Markley place has moved to a place west of Adair. A. W. Fitch, formerly of Prai rie City has moved to one of the Sperry farms southeast of town which he will tend. Perry Stewart of near Adair has moved to one of the Sperry dwellings and will work for Mr. Sperry. Jesse Keeling, who has been on the David Gaumer farm, will move to the Holler farm north of Bar dolph to be vacated soon by J. A. Parks. Mr. Gaumer who has been on the Clem Forster place will re move to the 145 acre farm he re cently bought in Emmet township, Claude Pontifex will move to the Forster place. G. W. Jaggers, formerly of the Elmer Gibbs place, will move to the Ringer place, northeast of Bardolph, which now is undergo ing long needed repairs. Henry Johnston, who has been living on his father’s farm, has moved to one of his own farms, the former Vanmeter place. He will continue to farm his father’s place, having employed Arthu Barnes for that purpose. Warsaw Bulletin: Having no use for the thing, Nauvoo has leased its jail for three years for $75 a year, Bardolph has a substantial vil lage prison that has not had an occupant in a dozen years past and is not likely to for a dozen years to come. Why not lease the thing and help relieve the house short age?
