M- Tedholm, a Swede who lives on Bolton farm near Willoughby, was found dead under a load of wood, near the Beaver bridge, Wednesday morning. It seems he started for Cedar Palls with the load of wood and reaching the dump just before crossing the Beaver bridge, the sled slipped down the side and tipped over, Tedholm being caught under the wood and killed. Hans Davidson,. living on the Rude farm near New Hartford, was among the first to find him, and then life was extinct. He leaves a wife and three children. Coroner Waddy of Waterloo, was notified of the accident and came, to Cedar Palls and with Charles Rownd, drove to the scene of the accident where an inquest was held. The verdict returned was that death was due from accident. The body was not badly bruised and it is believed that the load pinned him in the snow and death was due from suffocation.
