The citizens of Linton and adjoining town ships will have a grand Fox Drive, February 27, 1886, lines to be formed as follows: Commencing one mile north of the southeast corner of Linton township at the Fletcher Chapel church, running near to within one mile of Middletown; thence north to Prairie creek, and then following the creek to township line; thence north to James Harlen’s; thence east to township line; thence south to place of beginnin. Captains whose duty it will be to form said lines and appoint their aids are named as follows: South line, John R. Ring; west line, Milton Piety; north line, Thomas Sparks; east line, Hansbrough Weeks. Lines to be formed and start prompty at ten o’clock a. m. Everybody invited to come and bring any and everything that will make a noise. There will be no dogs or firearms allowed in any part of the lines.
