Death of Mrs. Michael Thompson. Mrs. Lucretia Thompson, wife of Michael Thompson, of Harrison town ship, died at the home of her husband on Tuesday morning, of lung fever, aged 64 years, 4 months and 29 days. Mrs. Thompson, whose maiden name was Davis, was born in Licking coun ty, Ohio, October 12, 1818. She was married to Mr. T.on December 16, 1835, in Delaware county, Ind., where they resided until 1857, when they re moved to this county, settling upon a farm in Jackson township, where they remained until 1874 when the old Reeder farm in Harrison township was purchased by them and they removed to that farm where they resided until Mrs. T.’s death. She was the mother of thirteen children, ten girls and three boys, six of whom are still living. Mrs. Thompson was one of the pioneers of Indiana and of Howard county. She was a kind and indulgent mother, and a most devoted wife. She was a mem ber of the Disciples church, having united with that denomination in 1859. The funeral occurred on Wednesday, Elder Walker conducting the services, and the interment taking place in the Lindley graveyard near Greentown.
