Farthing, a resident of the Calhan area for the last eight years, passed away Feb.16, 1917 at the age of 65.R.P. Wilson, local agent for new Ford cars, advertised the 1917 models in the Calhan News, The ‘Runabout was selling for $345 and the ’sedan’ was selling for $645.Feb. 24, 1927--The Calhan News—Feeders Day for the dry land region of Eastern Colorado has been set for March 4th at Ramah. The Extension Service of Colorado Agricultural College has under way on the farm of Eugene Gammon at Ramah, a demonstration in steer feeding on dry land crops.Prof. Robert P.
