.An application for a 50-unit new mobile home park in Green field will be heard by the Zon ing Board of Appeals this evening at 8 p.m., followed by a hearing on the same appli cation by the Board of Health at 9 p.m. The application was filed by Richard Kimball, who wants to establish the park on land known locally as ‘‘Miller Mea dow” in an area south and west of Colrain Rd. Just before, the road crosses Green River. The board would have to grant a zoning variance before the park could be established. According to a spokesman at the Greenfield Department of Public Works there are no prob lems from a service standpoint as the necessary town ,water and sewer facilities are adequate in the area. The Board of Heal th is reported to have no objec tions to the project. Kimball, who has not released full details on the ‘project pub licly, has been personally to ‘see all the abuttors in the area to explain the project. He sai his complaint will be based on the fact that trailer tax is lowe than that assessed against othe residential units.
