Six Local Men Arrested After Note Thrown Through Window. Six men were taken into custody last night by Policemen Bruce Wil cox and Rufus Adair and Oscar ‘Rogers, deputy sheriff, for throwing rocks through the windows at the ‘Frantz Young stave mill, near the ‘Harrison Grocer Company. A note which read “all right boys, get out of town, for we mean biz’, and signed, “Harrison Tough Men’ was attached to a rock. The mill is occupied by slave cutters from Newton county who have banking quarters. ~‘ The six prisoners watt also charged with disturbing the reli gious congregation at the Assembly of God church last night, by shouting. The men arrested were: John L. Lawrence, O. A. Marlow, Floyd Conner, Lee Wilhelm, Loren Wil helm and Charles Gregory. They were placed in the Boone county jail and were scheduled for a hearing in Mayor Rex Worthing ton’s court this afternoon.
