Peterson Patriot: The melting snow has put a crimp in the work on the the dam until the river recedes. Storm Lake Register: The state of Iowa is going to assist in the work of saving the banks of Storm Lake from the action of the angry waves which are in many places, washing consider able of the banks away. This action has been taken following a personal in terview between Representative W. C. Edson, of Storm Lake, and State Game Warden Albert, of Dea Moinee. Mr. Albert states that there are now a couple of thousand of dollars in state money, which has been received by the sale of soft fish aeined from Storm Lake, which will be used for the pur pose.
